To mark the 10th anniversary, we are releasing a 1LP ‘best of’ collection entitled 10 Shots: Highlights from the Original Broadway Cast Recording, curated by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. The compilation features the cast album’s most-consumed tracks while still maintaining a narrative arc. The LP comes with a poster insert featuring photos of the Original Broadway Cast, which have not appread in Hamilton music releases.
To date, Hamilton has only been pressed on standard black vinyl in a 4-LP box, so this release will not only be pressed on color vinyl for the first time — with an additional two exclusive color variants available for ex-US — but will open up the retail market with a more favorable entry vinyl price point.
No Hamilton vinyl has previously been made available ex-US, and with the show having had massive global impact since its initial release, we anticipate pent-up demand.
