Vibraphonist Joel Ross returns with his 5th Blue Note album Gospel Music featuring an expanded sextet line-up of his band Good Vibeswith Josh Johnson on alto saxophone, Maria Grand on tenor saxophone, Jeremy Corren on piano, Kanoa Mendenhall on bass & Jeremy Dutton on drums. The album is Ross’ sonic interpretation of the biblical story, an exploration of his faith, and the fulfilment of his musical upbringing in the church, which delivers a message of hope and love.
