As the vocalist and keyboardist for Brooklyn post-punk outfit Geese, Cameron Winter is part of one of the most buzzed-about groups of the mid- to late 2010s, synthesizing decades of guitar-forward rock styles with a band that started when its members were in high school. On their debut album Heavy Metal, Winter draws from a diverse set of influences - and, if rumours are to be believed, recording conditions - for a wholly unique and individual statement.
