Recorded at New York’s Columbia Studios on November 20th and 22nd 1961, Bob Dylan sang topical folk songs, accompanying himself on harmonica and guitar. The album contained just two original compositions by Dylan, ‘Song to Woody’ and ‘Talking New York, the remaining selections covering interpretations of mostly old folk and blues numbers.
Includes the bonus tracks ‘Mixed-Up Confusion’, ‘Baby, Please Don’t Go’ (recorded live for WBAI Radio) and ‘Corrina, Corrina’ (the A-Side single from Columbia 4-42656)
