Guitar Heroes: The Decca Years 1965–1967 captures the moment John Mayall’s The Bluesbreakers became the proving ground for a generation of legendary guitarists.

Across four seminal albums, from the raw, live energy of Klooks Kleek through the groundbreaking Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton, this set documents the birth of British blues-rock.

Featuring Eric Clapton (Cream), Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) and Mick Taylor (The Rolling Stones), these recordings laid the foundations for some of the most important bands in rock history.

The package includes a new extended essay documenting the lineage of these guitarists and their influence, alongside a visual family tree tracing their progression into Cream, Fleetwood Mac and The Rolling Stones.

The vinyl edition is cut AAA (all-analogue) at Abbey Road Studios from the original Decca master tapes, preserving the full dynamics, tone, and authenticity of the original recordings.
