Seeing its original release in 1996, ‘Dusk…and Her Embrace’ is stalwartly evergreen as an indelible etch on both sonic and cultural extremes. Their first major release following signing to Music For Nations, the album spurred a paradigmatic revolution in the black, gothic and symphonic metal scenes as the band shed a fledgling rawness of their early materials and became increasingly at home in their newfound proprietorship of the macabre.

Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, tracks including “Heaven Torn Asunder”, “Funeral in Carpathia”, “A Gothic Romance” and the epic title track remain cornerstones of the band’s live setlist to this day, and remain firm fan favourites.
