Carefully Remastered by five-time Grammy Award Winning Engineer Michael Graves with Vinyl Mastering by Jeff Powell. This RSD Exclusive version will be Pressed on 180 Gram vinyl on an exclusive clear vinyl available only to RSD enthusiasts. Original artwork meticulously restored and reproduced is produced in conjunction with Jazz Workshop Inc., the Charles Mingus Estate. This legendary recording features a powerhouse sextet featuring Eric Dolphy, Johnny Coles, and Jaki Byard. Blending blues, explosive swing, and avant-garde bursts, this high-wire performance captures Mingus at his boldest — uncompromising, urgent, and alive with possibility.
