Originally released in 1997, ‘Woke Up This Morning’ was written as a protest to domestic violence, inspired by the murder case surrounding Sara Thorton. After featuring as the iconic soundtrack to The Sopranos, ‘Woke Up This Morning’ has now been re-recorded featuring vocalist Zoe Devlin, touring member of Alabama 3, and remixed by Gus (Alt-J), Equalateral, and Porij.
